The function of the Clerks Payroll division is to provide effective and efficient payroll services to not only the employees of the Clerks office, but also to the employees of the Board of County Commissioners as well. The services provided are the processing of hours worked, resulting in either a hard copy pay check for some, or the direct deposit of wages through ACH services.
The Clerks Payroll division is also responsible for the timely filing of all taxes relative to the processing of payroll. Quarterly reporting is completed by the Clerks Payroll division for the following agencies: Clerk of Courts, Board of County Commissioners, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, and the Sheriffs Office. Quarterly reporting consists of filing the 941 quarterly as well as Unemployment information.
